Lions Slash Benedictine 6-2, As NDCL Moves On To The Baron Cup II Semifinals

By: Cole Liggett

Brooklyn, Ohio – In a high-energy, fast-paced game NDCL scored 6 against Benedictine’s 2 to let the Lions move on in the 2017 Baron Cup. Both teams were determined and wanted this win but NDCL found the net easier than Benedictine.

With NDCL’s Ryan MacDonald and Trent Antczak both hitting two goals and dominant defense by the Lions, Benedictine couldn’t match. Connor Zoul and C.J Natale both got 1 goal to help push the Lions to a bigger margin, yet Matt Carson was the flame that kept the Bengals on the board by scoring the only two goals of the game.

NDCL won the game 6-2 to move onto in the Baron Cup and will move on to verse the Avon Eagles.
